How to Play

• 1. How do I enter the competition?

  To enter dial *111# or complete the activation instructions on http://trivia.mymtc.mobi.
  
  Dial *111# and select Fan Cup Trivia.

• 2. How do I opt-out of the competition?

  If you no longer wish to participate in the VIP part of the competition, dial *111# and go to “My Profile” to opt-out.
  
  You can also opt out of content services via *111# select 9 - Manage Services. To opt-out via SMS, check the Welcome SMS for the SMS keyword and SMS code.

• 3. Can I re-enter the competition after I have opted-out?

  Yes. You can always opt-in to VIP again by dialing *111#. Any points you earned during a previous session will carry over to the new session.

• 4. How do I check how many points I have?

  You can check your balance at any time on the “My Profile” section on *111# or on the main web platform www.trivia.mymtc.mobi.

• 5. How many trivia questions can I answer?

  Method 1: Recharge-to-Play
  Users automatically earn trivia questions upon recharging their airtime with the following top-ups:

• 6. What prizes can I win?

  • Instant daily airtime prizes
    • There will be a maximum of 6 winners per day for the Campaign Period.
    • The value of an instant airtime prize is N$200.
  • Weekly Play Station 5, EA Sports FC 26 and iPhone 17 (256GB)
    • There are a maximum of 15 winners for the Play Stations and 15 winners for the iPhones.
  • Monthly Maris Wallet cash and (monthly Surprise prize)
    • There are a maximum of 45 winners for the Maris Wallet cash prize and 45 winners for the monthly Surprise prize.
  • The grand prize is 1 of 4 SUVs.
  • The total prize pool is valued at approximately N$3,000,000.
  • Prizes are strictly non-transferable and are not redeemable for cash.

• 7. How will I be notified that I have won?

  Airtime winners will be notified via SMS only. Winners of the weekly, monthly and grand prizes will be contacted telephonically by MTC.

• 8. When will the winners be announced?

  Airtime prize winners will be chosen at random throughout the day. These prizes are awarded electronically in real time and winners will receive an SMS notification of the prize.

  • Airtime prizes will be recharged automatically to the winner’s airtime balance.
  • MTC or its authorized agents will contact the winners once the draw is made. Winners will receive an SMS on the day that they win. An agent will call them immediately after this.
  • If a winner cannot be contacted within 3 (three) days from the date of the first SMS and/ or call, or a notified winner refuses the prize or does not provide the necessary documentation within 15 (fifteen) days of notification, then MTC will contact the runner-up winner.
  • The prize is then forfeited by the initial winner. The same rules shall apply to the runner-up from the date of notification. Neither the winner nor any runner-ups will have any claims against MTC in this regard.
  • The winner should be the owner of the Mobile Subscriber Integrated Services Digital Network-Number (MSISDN) (cellphone number) used to participate in the Competition.
  • Any dispute of ownership of the MSISDN will result in that MSISDN being disqualified from this Competition.

• 9. How are points allocated?

  Point are allocated for specific actions you take during the game according to the table below:

  VIP players will receive double points for each action they complete while subscribed to the VIP service.

• 10. How are winners selected?

  Winners are selected by a random draw engine from the list of qualified entrants. Each point that a player has counts as one entry into the draw(s) they qualify for.

• 11. Can I win more than one prize?

  You can win more than once in the daily airtime draws but participants can’t win more than once from the other prize categories.

• 13. How much does it cost to participate?

  Subscription to the VIP level costs N$ 3.00/day.
